Our first stop was the Torquay Surf Museum, which was a big hit with the group. Everyone enjoyed exploring the exhibits together, with a special highlight being Jacinta and Shae getting the chance to colour in a surfboard sheet that was proudly displayed on the museum wall — a really lovely moment that made them feel included and proud.

The day kicked off with smooth morning pick-ups before the group headed down to Geelong for a day by the water. We spent time along the waterfront and out on the pier, where the boys enjoyed a fishing activity and were supported to take part safely and comfortably.

Lunch was enjoyed during the day, with individual needs supported as required, before the fun continued along the waterfront. Ice creams were a definite highlight and a well-earned treat in the warm weather.

As part of an individual activity, Sophie and Emily enjoyed a ride on the ferris wheel, which was a really positive and memorable moment. The group wrapped up the day with a relaxed trip home, including another ice cream stop on the way back.

Everyone was dropped home safely after a great Sunday out by the water.
