BBQ, Sunshine & Creative Vibes

The sun was shining this morning, setting a positive tone for the day and putting everyone in great spirits. The group enjoyed a fun and social start — Stephen, Ethan, and Lochie played a few friendly games of pool, sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Meanwhile, Amy got creative making colourful loom bands with Bree and Amanda, turning out some bright and impressive designs!

Later in the morning, we headed out to Kirk’s Reservoir to enjoy the sunshine and a tasty BBQ lunch. After lunch, the crew got active with a lively game of markers up football — Stephen showed off some huge kicks, while Alex joined in on the fun and gave it his best shot.

When we returned, Gemma, Lochie, Amanda, and Chloe relaxed by the pool, soaking up the afternoon sun and enjoying the chocolate icy poles we made the day before. Inside, Amanda,…

Sunday – Group Day Out – 19/10/25

Melbourne Aquarium & Picnic in the Gardens

The Sunday group had a fantastic day out exploring the Melbourne Aquarium before enjoying a relaxed picnic lunch at the Melbourne Gardens.

The morning kicked off with plenty of excitement as we made our way into the city. Everyone was eager to check out the aquarium — the penguins were a clear favourite, but the sharks and jellyfish displays definitely stole the show! There were smiles all around as we explored each section, taking in the amazing sea life and snapping a few great photos along the way.

Afterwards, we headed to the Royal Botanic Gardens to enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch under the trees. The weather was perfect, and it was the ideal way to unwind after a big morning of exploring.

A brilliant Sunday full of laughs, learning, and good company — the perfect combination for our weekend group.

Monday – Hub Group – 27/10/25

The Monday group kicked off the day with Stephen and Loughlinplaying a few friendly games of pool — great to see the boys hanging out and having fun together. Everyone settled in with some coffee and toast before the morning got rolling.

James, Jem, and Erynn enjoyed a few Wiggles videos in the movie room, while Stephen, Loughlin, and I headed out for Stephen’s morning drink trip to the supermarket.

Once back, it was time for lunch — chicken salad wraps that everyone helped make and enjoyed together. After lunch, the group took another trip to the supermarket to grab ingredients for a fun project: homemade icy poles! We made both chocolate ice cream and raspberry lemonade flavours, ready for the warm days ahead.

The afternoon wrapped up with a few games of Uno, some TV time, and plenty of laughs to finish off a relaxed and productive Monday.

Thursday – Group Day Out – 16/10/25

The Thursday group made the absolute most of the weather with a day trip down to Barwon Heads! Once everyone was rounded up, we hit the road — chatter and laughter filled the bus the whole way down, and it was great to have Alex join in for the day.

When we arrived, we found a perfect spot by the water and fired up the BBQ. Everyone soaked up the sun while enjoying some tasty sausages and plenty of smiles.

Of course, no beach day is complete without ice cream, so we wrapped up the afternoon with a treat before heading home.

Overall, it was an amazing day filled with good weather, good company, and all the best vibes — just how Thursdays should be!

Monday – Hub Group – 20/10/25

MasterChef at the Hub

What a fun and creative Monday at the Hub! The group started the day by catching up over coffee and toast, setting the perfect relaxed vibe to kick off the week.

Lockie jumped straight into a few rounds of pool against Drew, while Jemison and James brought plenty of laughs with their Wiggles dance moves in the cinema room. Meanwhile, Stephen was in his element, spending some time in his favourite space playing VR.

For lunch, we hosted our own My Kitchen Rules challenge — and the kitchen came alive! Steven and Lockie teamed up to make spaghetti and meatballs with cheesy garlic bread. Steven took the lead behind the stove, carefully browning the meatballs and stirring through the sauce like a pro chef. The result? A delicious meal that earned some seriously high praise from everyone.

After lunch, the group wound down with a mix of…

Saturday - Group Monster Jam - 4/10/25

What an epic night out! The Saturday group met full of excitement for the big trip to Melbourne. We made a quick stop at the hub to grab everything we needed (and make sure everyone had a bathroom break!) before hitting the road.

The bus ride was packed with laughs, music, and good vibes. Matt was a total legend, helping with directions through the chaos of Melbourne traffic and keeping everyone calm (and entertained) the whole way!

We arrived at AAMI Park around 6pm, somehow scoring the best parking spot ever — right in front of the lift to our gate. Once inside, everyone got comfy in their seats, snacks in hand, ready for the Monster Truck Showdown!

The atmosphere was unreal — engines roaring, trucks flying through the air, and the crowd going wild. Every jump and spin got huge cheers, and there were plenty of wide eyes and big smiles all…

Sunday Group 5/10/25

What a great Sunday adventure! It was a smaller crew this week, with Mark and Lochie joining in for a relaxed day out. We hit the road at 9 a.m. and made our way to You Yangs Regional Park for a short hike. After finding a good parking spot, we set off on one of the trails — it turned out to be a bit tricky for Mark, but we still soaked up the fresh air and beautiful views before heading back.

Next stop — Geelong! We dropped into the Eureka Hotel for a tasty lunch, where the boys tucked into a great meal while catching some UFC on the big screen. Afterwards, we strolled through town, popping into a few local shops before making our way down to the Geelong Waterfront.

There, we grabbed some ice cream and wandered through the Sunday market, which was a big hit with the boys. On…
