Tuesday Group 27/1/26
Tuesday group kicked off at 9:00am, and with the hot weather sticking around, the morning was kept cool and comfortable indoors. Everyone enjoyed morning tea in the air conditioning before settling into a relaxed start to the day.
The morning included arts and crafts and a range of board games, with lots of chatting, laughs, and great turn-taking. Everyone appeared relaxed, engaged, and happy while easing into the day.
Late morning, the group headed out to the Golden Point Hotel for lunch. Lunch was a big success, with everyone enjoying their meals and some great conversations. A few participants also made the most of the indoor playground, which was a fun way to move around while staying cool.
After lunch, the group returned briefly to the hub for a short rest before heading out again to Oz Ten Pin Bowling. Bowling was a definite highlight of the day, with lots of encouragement, cheering, and friendly competition. A special mention to Loch, who bowled an awesome game and took out the win!
The afternoon wrapped up back at the hub with ice creams, relaxation, and social time while staff tidied up and prepared for drop-offs. Drop-offs commenced around 3:30pm after another fun, well-balanced day that everyone enjoyed.
