Sunday Group 25/1/26

The day started bright and early, with pick-ups beginning at 8:30am before meeting up and heading off to Torquay for a full day out. On the way, we stopped in Meredith for a toilet break, coffee, and a morning snack — a welcome pause before continuing the drive.

Our first stop was the Torquay Surf Museum, which was a big hit with the group. Everyone enjoyed exploring the exhibits together, with a special highlight being Jacinta and Shae getting the chance to colour in a surfboard sheet that was proudly displayed on the museum wall — a really lovely moment that made them feel included and proud.

After the museum, we headed down near the beach and fired up the BBQ, enjoying sausages and cheeseburgers while taking in the beautiful coastal views. The group was relaxed, happy, and soaking up the sunshine.

The afternoon was all about the beach — some…

Sunday Group 18/1/26

The day kicked off with smooth morning pick-ups before the group headed down to Geelong for a day by the water. We spent time along the waterfront and out on the pier, where the boys enjoyed a fishing activity and were supported to take part safely and comfortably.

Lunch was enjoyed during the day, with individual needs supported as required, before the fun continued along the waterfront. Ice creams were a definite highlight and a well-earned treat in the warm weather.

As part of an individual activity, Sophie and Emily enjoyed a ride on the ferris wheel, which was a really positive and memorable moment. The group wrapped up the day with a relaxed trip home, including another ice cream stop on the way back.

Everyone was dropped home safely after a great Sunday out by the water.

Sunday Group 14/12/25

The group was picked up around 9:00am before heading off to Geelong for a full day out. We made a quick stop along the way for a toilet and drink break, then it was straight into the fun.

First stop was ten-pin bowling, where the group shared two lanes and played two full games. There was plenty of friendly competition, laughs, and some very impressive throws — a definite highlight of the day!

After bowling, we grabbed fish and chips for lunch and found a nice shaded spot to sit together and enjoy the meal. Everyone relaxed, chatted, and refuelled before the next activity.

The afternoon was spent down at the Geelong waterfront, taking in the sights and enjoying a walk along the beach. A fan-favourite stop was the ice-cream shop, where everyone treated themselves before continuing the stroll.

On the way home, we made a cheeky stop for an…

Sunday 16 November — St Kilda Market & Ice Cream Treat

The day began with a cheerful bus ride, filled with conversation and plenty of excitement for our trip to the St Kilda Market. When we arrived, the weather wasn’t ideal, so the group shifted plans and explored a nearby area with lots of open shops to browse through. Everyone enjoyed taking their time wandering around before settling in for a relaxed lunch.

Lindy especially enjoyed her souvlaki, and Sophie had a great time admiring all the cakes and slices displayed in the bakery windows — lots of colours and treats to look at! After lunch, the group headed off for another walk to explore more of the area.

On the way home, we made a stop for ice cream, which was a hit with everyone. A standout moment of the day was Sophie greeting people and happily patting every friendly dog that passed by — her excitement brought plenty of…
