Melbourne Aquarium & Picnic in the Gardens

The Sunday group had a fantastic day out exploring the Melbourne Aquarium before enjoying a relaxed picnic lunch at the Melbourne Gardens.

The morning kicked off with plenty of excitement as we made our way into the city. Everyone was eager to check out the aquarium — the penguins were a clear favourite, but the sharks and jellyfish displays definitely stole the show! There were smiles all around as we explored each section, taking in the amazing sea life and snapping a few great photos along the way.

Afterwards, we headed to the Royal Botanic Gardens to enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch under the trees. The weather was perfect, and it was the ideal way to unwind after a big morning of exploring.

A brilliant Sunday full of laughs, learning, and good company — the perfect combination for our weekend group.

What a great Sunday adventure! It was a smaller crew this week, with Mark and Lochie joining in for a relaxed day out. We hit the road at 9 a.m. and made our way to You Yangs Regional Park for a short hike. After finding a good parking spot, we set off on one of the trails — it turned out to be a bit tricky for Mark, but we still soaked up the fresh air and beautiful views before heading back.

Next stop — Geelong! We dropped into the Eureka Hotel for a tasty lunch, where the boys tucked into a great meal while catching some UFC on the big screen. Afterwards, we strolled through town, popping into a few local shops before making our way down to the Geelong Waterfront.

What a fantastic day out for Sunday group! Everyone was picked up bright and early, excited for a full-day adventure to Halls Gap Zoo. The drive over was filled with chats and music, setting a great vibe for the day.

The highlight for many was hand-feeding the friendly deer, with big smiles all around. The group also loved checking out the cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, and colourful birds, taking plenty of time to explore and enjoy the animals.

After a warm drink and catch-up, the group headed into Halls Gap township for a little more fun. A stop at the lolly shop was a hit, especially for Sophie, Brendan, and Kaden who picked out some tasty treats.

The trip home was relaxed, wrapping up what everyone agreed was a memorable day filled with laughs, great company, and plenty of special moments.

What a wonderful day we had with Sunday group! We headed down to Queenscliff to hop aboard the Swan Bay Express, with perfect weather — sunny and 20 degrees. Spirits were high as we arrived, enjoying classic fish and chips on the lawn while soaking up the sunshine before our train ride.

The journey itself was a real highlight. The stunning coastal scenery made for a peaceful and enjoyable trip, giving everyone a chance to relax and take in the views together.

To finish off the day, we stopped in at the local ice cream shop — a definite hit with the whole group, and the perfect treat after a warm, sunny outing.
