Tuesday 11 November — Warm Hub Day & Roast Lunch
The Tuesday group arrived eager to get inside the warm hub and out of the wet weather. We started the morning with hot coffees and chocolates, chatting and catching up while the rain poured outside.
Emily, along with Sarah, Amanda, and Bree, spent part of the morning decorating their own photo frames — ready for us to print and hang photos around the hub. The results looked fantastic and added a lovely personal touch to the space.
Before lunch, Jem and I watched some YouTube tutorials on replacing car batteries, while Lochie and I enjoyed a few competitive games of Uno and pool — with Lochie taking the win once again!
For lunch, the group cooked a delicious lamb roast with veggies, the perfect meal for a cold, rainy day. After eating, everyone gathered in the movie room to relax and watch Wicked, while Emily and Ethan helped hang up some of the group’s recent artwork on the walls for everyone to admire.
It was a warm, creative, and social day spent keeping cosy, having fun, and making the most of the weather together.
