Thursday 13 November — Sunnyside Art Experience & Toasties Lunch
Today was a lovely, easygoing Thursday with a calm start to the morning. Everyone settled in at the hub and enjoyed a relaxed, comfortable vibe before sharing a simple but delicious lunch of toasties and fresh rolls — always a crowd favourite.
After lunch, we made our way to the Sunnyside Exhibition for an afternoon filled with colour, creativity, and inspiration. The group absolutely loved the experience, taking their time to explore the artwork and engage with the bright, welcoming space.
Rosie spent much of the day working on a beautiful new art piece, putting so much care and detail into her work. Barnsey brought the festive spirit early, happily writing his Christmas list, which sparked plenty of conversation about everyone’s holiday plans and favourite memories.
To finish off the afternoon, the group enjoyed a well-earned ice cream treat, with Anneliese especially delighted — Il Piccolo is her favourite!
It was a warm, meaningful day filled with creativity, good food, and those little moments that make Thursdays with the group so special.
