Sunday - Werribee Zoo, New Elephant Habitat Visit

On Sunday, May 18th, 2025, make a trip to Werribee Open Range Zoo to experience their brand-new, world-class elephant habitat! This expansive 21-hectare area provides the zoo's herd of Asian elephants with a naturalistic environment featuring multiple habitats and even two large swimming pools.

This is a fantastic opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures exploring their spacious new home, which has been designed to promote their well-being and allow for natural behaviours. You might even catch the keepers engaging in training and enrichment activities in the specially designed Elephant Barn.
