About the event
This Sunday, we’re heading to the beautiful Portarlington foreshore for a relaxed, sun-filled day by the sea!
We’ll start the morning wandering through the Portarlington Sunday Market, checking out local stalls, crafts, and treats. After that, we’ll fire up the BBQ at one of the shaded foreshore shelters for a tasty group lunch and some downtime under the trees.
In the afternoon, we’ll take a gentle walk along the beach path, stopping for photos and fresh sea air before setting up for beach games — frisbee, bocce, or just chilling in the sand. For those who want to cool off, there’ll be an optional supervised paddle or swim (conditions permitting).
The forecast is around 30°C, so bring a hat, towel, swimmers, sunscreen, and plenty of water. It’s an easy-going day with great company, coastal views, and plenty of summer vibes — all without the Melbourne traffic!
