On Thursday, July 31st, our group embarked on a unique and quintessentially Australian adventure to the Cyril Callister Museum in Beaufort, the birthplace of Vegemite!
Participants had a fantastic time exploring the museum dedicated to the beloved spread. We delved into the history, learned about its creation, and even got some fun photos posing with a giant Vegemite jar cutout! It was fascinating to see the origins of such an iconic Australian food.
After our interesting museum visit, we headed out to enjoy a classic Australian lunch of fish and chips. Meanwhile, James and a few of the boys decided to make the most of the lovely weather. They went for a relaxing stroll, soaking up the sun and enjoying some time at the local playground.
It was a great day filled with discovery, delicious food, and outdoor enjoyment for everyone!
