Sunday Groups
Sweet Treats and a Rainy Adventure to the Chocolate Factory!
We set off towards the Chocolate Factory, driving through persistent rain, taking our time to get there safely. Upon arrival, we quickly parked in the drop-off area and ushered everyone inside to escape the downpour.
Inside, we explored the bustling factory, taking our time to navigate the crowds in smaller, more manageable groups. Sophie provided excellent assistance to Ann, while I was happy to push Janice's wheelchair, ensuring everyone could enjoy the experience comfortably. As we walked through the vibrant displays, everyone enjoyed Browse the vast selection and excitedly picking out some delicious chocolates to take home. The aroma of cocoa filled the air, adding to the delightful atmosphere.
Our lunch stop was at Maccas in Torquay, a welcome refuge from the persistent rain. After efficiently placing everyone's orders, we settled in for a short wait for our meals. The warm food was a perfect antidote to the chilly weather, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their lunch. We took our time, waiting patiently for a slight break in the rain to make our return to the van as comfortable as possible.
Despite the persistent rain, it was a fantastic day, and everyone had an absolute blast! The Chocolate Factory was a huge hit, and everyone was thrilled with their sweet finds. While the rain was a minor damper, it certainly didn't stop us from making the most of our fun-filled adventure!
