New Friends, Tacos, and Ten Pin Bowling!
This morning, everyone arrived at the hub by 9:15 AM, ready for a fun-filled day. I brewed some coffees and prepared breakfast while everyone chatted and enjoyed a couple of lively games of Uno at the table. A highlight was meeting James, who we already absolutely adore! He joined in on the games and kept us all laughing with his super funny personality.
At 10 AM, the group headed over to Pipers for a warm drink and more engaging conversations. We spent a good hour there, enjoying each other's company before heading back to the hub at 11 AM. I started on lunch, and I had some great helpers in Alex and Chloe! After everyone had devoured their delicious tacos, we happily sang "Happy Birthday" to Anneliese and shared some celebratory cake.
Once everything was cleaned up, it was off to ten-pin bowling, everyone's favourite activity! We all had a great time, with Chloe truly shining and coming out on top with a heap of impressive strikes.
After bowling, we dropped Rosie and Anneliese home, then returned to the hub for a relaxing half an hour before departing for our usual drop-offs at 3:30 PM. It was a wonderful day filled with new connections, good food, and plenty of friendly competition!
