About the event
We’re heading to Werribee Open Range Zoo this Sunday for a full-day adventure exploring wildlife from around the world. Participants will experience the safari bus tour, where giraffes, zebras and rhinos roam the open plains, followed by walking through a range of animal exhibits including lions, meerkats and more.
The day is designed to support social interaction, community access skills, and independence. We will share lunch together (packed or café), practise ordering and money handling skills where appropriate, and finish with a small souvenir or ice cream treat.
This outing encourages engagement, movement, conversation and shared experiences in a structured and well-supported environment. A fantastic Sunday adventure!
